How to add page numbers to PDF

Insert page numbers in the style you need

Place numbers at the top or bottom of the page, on the left, center or right. Formats are 1, Page 1, Page 1 of N and 1/N.

A custom start number helps when the file is one chapter of a longer document. Skipping the first page keeps a cover or title page clean.

Get the page order right first

Numbers follow the current page order, so fix that before you stamp. Rearrange PDF pages to reorder them, or merge several PDFs into one file so numbering runs straight through.
