How to Delete a Page in Word
To delete a page in Word, select everything on that page and press Delete. Word has no single "delete page" button because a page is just the space its content fills. Remove the content and the page goes with it. A blank page that will not go away is almost always caused by a hidden paragraph mark, a page break or a table, and each has a quick fix.

Click at the very start of the page you want to remove.
Scroll to the end of that page, hold Shift and click after the last character. Everything on the page is now selected.
Press Delete or Backspace. The page disappears and the text after it moves up.
If a blank page is left over, turn on formatting marks (Ctrl+Shift+8 on Windows, Cmd+8 on Mac) and delete the stray marks you see.
How to delete a page of text in Word
Selecting by hand works on any version of Word. Click at the start of the page, then Shift-click at the end. On a long page you can also click at the start and drag down.
Word for Windows has a faster route. Click anywhere on the page, press Ctrl+G to open Go To, type \page in the box and press Enter. Word selects the whole current page. Close the box and press Delete.
Check the page after it. If the next page started with a heading, that heading now sits where the deleted page was, which is usually what you want.
How to delete a blank page in Word
Blank pages have something on them that you cannot see. Turn on formatting marks with Ctrl+Shift+8 on Windows or Cmd+8 on Mac. You can also click the ¶ button on the Home tab. Now every paragraph mark, page break and section break shows.
Select the extra ¶ marks or the Page Break line on the blank page and press Delete. A Section Break can be deleted the same way, but it carries the formatting of the section before it. If the layout changes after deleting one, press Ctrl+Z to undo and try the next fix instead.

Word always keeps one paragraph mark at the very end of a document. If the page before it is full, that mark spills onto a new page and you get a blank last page you cannot delete.
This happens most often when a document ends with a table, because Word puts the final mark right after it. You cannot remove the mark, but you can shrink it. Select it, set the font size to 1, and set paragraph spacing before and after to 0. It usually fits back on the previous page. If not, reduce the bottom margin slightly.
Deleting a page after saving as PDF
